3-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Flying in/out from Zanzibar

Day 1 Zanzibar to Serengeti

Pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar early in the morning and board a one-hour flight to Arusha on a small plane. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, your guide will meet you and drive you towards Serengeti National Park. En route, you’ll pass the Ngorongoro Crater rim, Maasai villages, and scenic landscapes. After a lunch break, continue to the Serengeti park gate and begin your afternoon game drive. Serengeti is home to a vast array of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes. Drive through the park until sunset, then head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti camp for a sunrise game drive. The animals will be more active as the heat of the day hasn’t yet set in, giving you a great opportunity for wildlife sightings. Drive through the park until lunchtime, then begin your journey to Ngorongoro. Along the way, stop to visit a traditional Maasai village, where the locals will welcome you with tribal dances and share stories about their daily life. Continue your drive to Ngorongoro, where you’ll reach your accommodation for the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in this breathtaking area.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, depart your accommodation and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. The descent into the caldera is stunning, offering you an opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife that thrives within. This vast and fertile land is home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos—along with a variety of other animals. Enjoy a full day of game drives before driving back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. Catch your flight back to Zanzibar, where a transfer driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
